Prof Bridget Cooper taught in schools and adult education for 15 years and has since researched and taught in various Higher Education institutions since 1995: the Open University, Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Sunderland University, where she is Director of the Centre for Pedagogy. She has a wide range of research interests including affective aspects of learning, moral education, and issues of equality in education and society which includes gender.
