Studying MSc Inequality and Society? Visit our Inequality and Society Useful Resources list where we have added two new archives on LGBTQI+.

The archives are both in the LGBTQI+ section and are:

The Digital Transgender Archive charts transgender history and links to digital archives and collections of transgender history around the world. You can browse the archive by collection, topic or format of material (genre). The Bishopsgate LGBTQ+ Archives are held at the Bishopsgate Institute in London and cover LGBTQ+ history, politics and culture in the UK and go back to the nineteenth century. They include the archive of The Gay Men’s Health Charity (GMFA), Outrage!, Stonewall  and Switchboard. The archives house material about the Terrence Higgins Trust and Achilles Heal and QX Magazines.  In addition the archive is home to the Lesbian and Gay Newsmedia Archive (LAGNA) which includes press cuttings dating from 1890. The collection encompasses books too (academic works, fiction and biographies).
