Your dissertation- we can help!

If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student writing a dissertation or any final year project, this is for you.

Chances are you have succeeded in many aspects of your studies already and made good use of the skills you have developed so far throughout your academic career. Writing a dissertation is a little different to anything you will have attempted before, however. But fear not, there is lots of advice and guidance available to help you through this part of your studies.

Starting Friday this week (15th March) we are running a dissertation drop-in in the Murray Library between 1pm and 3pm. Feel free to come along and work on your dissertation in the Info Skills Room; this is the perfect opportunity to end the week on  a positive note and get some writing done before the weekend. If you have questions about any part of your dissertation, the team of Study Skills Advisers, Helen, Jenny and Sarah, will be in the Study Support Zone ready to answer your questions. We would love to see you there!

If you are unable to attend on a Friday afternoon, you could come along to one of our regular drop-in sessions, held on Tuesday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm in the Study Skills Zone, Murray Library or Thursday morning between 10am and 1pm in St. Peters Library. We would be happy to answer any questions you have.

You could also request a one-to-one appointment with a Study Skills Adviser to discuss any questions you have in more detail. Simply complete the online form: One-to-one support

We hope to see you soon.
