Goodbye old PubMed – Hello new PubMed!

New look PubMed will become the default site from 18 May 2020.

Both sites will  be updated and run parallel for a short period of time after the new PubMed becomes the default. After a short time, old PubMed will be retired. Some important info:

  • Links to old PubMed will be redirected to the new site – these will be persistent links so they will not be “broken”.
  • The National Library of Medicine (NLM) will continue to develop New PubMed.

For help using New PubMed the NLM has produced PubMed Essentials: New Quick Tours and On-Demand Class on the New PubMed, or contact your Liaison Librarian.
