Creative Lives 22nd March – Zac Weinberg

The School of Art and Design Creative Lives’ presentations highlight how creative graduates across the field of art and design work, live and thrive in the arts and creative industries. These artists will be speaking about their career journey and projects they are currently involved with.

The talks are open to all students and staff in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries, and the general public. There’s no need to book individual places, just come along on the day. The talks will run every Tuesday 4.00-5.00pm from 1st February to 5th April 2022.

Zac Weinberg - Search DetailZac received a BFA from The New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and a MFA from The Ohio State University. His projects address the systems by which we interpret and allocate status to objects. His glass and mixed media works have been exhibited at home and abroad in venues including The Sculpture Center, OH, The Agnes Varis Art Center, NY, Glassmuseet Ebeltoft, Denmark and Glasenhuis, Belgium.

He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Kanik Chung Legacy Fellowship at MassArt and an Individual Excellence Award through the Ohio Arts Council.

In 2021 Zac started studio-based research at The National Glass Centre as a US/UK Fulbright Scholar.
