Resource Spotlight: IEEE Xplore

IEEE Xplore is a subject databases which provides access to more than five million full text documents in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics.  It gives you access to journals, conference papers, technical standards and books.

You can easily view the top searches on the database or you can do your own search. You can also browse and look at recently published titles. Some journals that have published new issues this month are:

  • IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society
  • IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering
  • IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing
IEEE Xplore has a great help section with videos and training

There are user guides and video tutorials which can help you search for the information you need and save it.

How to access IEEE Xplore

You can access IEEE Xplore from anywhere – just use the Database A-Z list on the Library web page to find IEEE Xplore. When you access it you will need to login with your University User ID and password.
