New Database for Health Sciences and Wellbeing: Health Research Premium Collection
After a successful trial of the Health Research Premium Collection (HRPC) earlier this year, the Liaison team for Health Sciences and Wellbeing are delighted that we have been able to purchase this resource for University staff and students.
HRPC is a collection of health and medicine databases covering a wide range of subjects within nursing, healthcare, medicine, public health and psychology. It offers users a broad range of resources including journals, evidence-based resources, and full-text dissertations.
To access HRPC click on Databases A-Z from the Library homepage and log on with your University ID and password. Scroll through the list or select ‘H’ to find Health Research Premium Collection.
Once on the homepage there are several options for searching including Basic Search, Advanced Search or by Publication and there are extensive help pages and searching tips to help you make the most of this resource.
If you scroll down the homepage you are also given a list of the wide range of subjects covered in the collection and it also gives you the option to search within each individual database, these include:
- Consumer Health Database
- Health & Medical Collection
- Healthcare Administration Database
- MEDLINE®
- Nursing & Allied Health Database
- Psychology Database
- Public Health Database
