UNWTO: Overtourism webinar & factsheet
As tourism students you will look at city tourism throughout several modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. One of the recent discussion points surrounding city tourism is ‘over tourism’. We’ve posted about this on the blog before (previous posts are linked below for info). The UNWTO held a webinar on 14th May 2019 (below) presenting their ongoing research on the perception of residents towards city tourism. It is hosted on the UNWTO Youtube channel.
