Rambert Theatre Programmes 1926-1989 – free online access

The Rambert Archive has a large collection of theatre programmes, cast sheets, publicity leaflets, press releases, and tour itineraries. More than 2,000 of these have been digitised and are freely available to view online.

Dating from June 1926 to March 1989, the programmes and related items cover Rambert’s tours in the UK and abroad.

These materials from the Rambert Archive’s theatre programmes collection were digitised as part of Rambert at 90, a project marking the company’s 90th anniversary, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The Rambert Archive has lots of other valuable resources which document the evolution of British dance, including a series of infographics illustrating key moments in Rambert’s history with a poster for each decade.
