Tourism for Development – free UNWTO report
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) makes many of it’s publications available for free via the UNWTO eLibrary.
Tourism for Development – Volume 1: Key Areas for Action and Volume 2: Success Stories are two of the latest titles to be added and through case studies it considers five pillars of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism 2017:
- Sustainable economic growth
- Social inclusiveness, employment and reducing poverty
- Resource efficiency
- Cultural values, diversity and heritage
- Mutual understanding, peace and security
