The British Society of Criminology is holding its annual conference at Birmingham City University  from 3-6 July 2018. Keynote speakers include Dr Ben Crewe,  Deputy Director of the Prisons Research Centre and Reader in Penology at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge, Jeff Ferrell (Professor of Sociology at Texas Christian University, USA and Visiting Professor of Criminology at the University of Kent, UK),  Yvonne Jewkes (Professor of Criminology at the University of Kent), Michael Levi (Professor of Criminology at Cardiff University), David Wilson (Emeritus Professor of Birmingham City University), Edmund Clark (former resident Ikon artist (2014-2018) at HMP Grendon and Dr Thomas Raymen (Lecturer in Criminology in the School of Law, Criminology and Government at Plymouth University). Find out more about their specialisms on the Keynotes page and about conference rates on the Registration page.
