There needs to be a higher visibility given to &#8216;inspiring stories&#8217;, again for both staff and students.<\/p>\n<p>3. The Sunderland Futures project is something students need to be encouraged to take advantage of.<\/p>\n<p>4. The Athena Swan Contract, once rolled out across Humanities and Social Sciences, could provide a way of fostering an aspirational culture in academic staff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Donna Chambers for the photo.
