Victimisation and Social Harm

CASS members working within this subtheme have conducted research encompassing a diverse range of social harms experienced by vulnerable groups in society. This has included qualitative research exploring the relationship between mental health, social exclusion and homelessness; the dynamics of interpersonal violence within intimate relationships, and the vulnerability and experiences of young LGBTQ people of sexual exploitation across the region. Research has also focused on the social and media construction of immigration and difference.
