2016 Postgraduate Conference – Critical Approaches to Research
Call for Papers
We are pleased to announce the 2016 Postgraduate Conference at the University of Sunderland. This one-day multidisciplinary conference is designed to give postgraduate students from any institution an opportunity to present and discuss their research.
The conference is focused on Critical Approaches to Research. Presentations are encouraged to discuss issues which may include (without being limited to) the use of critique in order to address problematic issues, power relations, specific notions, theories or research.
The aim of the conference is to encourage the development of student communication and research networks. Research students will be given the opportunity to present their work and meet peers who engage in similar research activities and also to get valuable feedback.

Abstract Submission Guideline
Interested postgraduate research students should send a 200-word abstract (excluding title and references) to this email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Accepted abstracts will be allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
Deadline for submission of abstracts: Friday 18 March 2016
Notification of acceptance: Friday 8 April 2016
